Candoxa Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 2025
Pre-Registration Disclaimer
Candoxa is in the process of registering a legal entity. These Terms are published for transparency and community guidance but do not yet create binding legal obligations. Once registration is complete, they will be updated to reflect the official entity.
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Candoxa, the first blockchain global memory layer. By accessing or using Candoxa’s websites, smart contracts, NFTs, tokens, or applications (together, the Service), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with local laws. By connecting a wallet or account, you confirm you are the rightful owner.
Updates to These Terms
Candoxa may change these Terms or the Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and your continued use means you accept the changes. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
Use of the Service
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt, exploit, or interfere with Candoxa or its blockchain operations. Candoxa may restrict or suspend your access if you misuse the Service.
Ownership and Content
Candoxa owns all technology, branding, and designs related to the Service. You retain ownership of your original content, but by using the Service you grant Candoxa the right to record and display it permanently as Memory Proofs on-chain. Memory Proofs are permanent and cannot be deleted or reversed.
Fees
Some features of the Service may involve fees. These may include transaction fees, blockchain network fees, or service charges. Fees will be disclosed at the time of use.
Gifts and Digital Assets
Candoxa may provide gifts in the form of points, NFTs, tokens, or other digital assets. These gifts are a recognition system, not wages or financial compensation. They may carry value, but Candoxa does not guarantee price, liquidity, or convertibility. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys. Transactions are final and irreversible.
Termination
Candoxa may suspend or end access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Certain parts of these Terms, including disclaimers and liability limits, remain in effect even after termination.
Disclaimers and Liability
The Service is provided “as is.” Candoxa does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or future availability. Blockchain systems involve risk. Candoxa is not responsible for losses caused by wallet breaches, private key loss, market volatility, or smart contract failures. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Switzerland once Candoxa’s legal entity is registered. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be settled under Swiss law through arbitration or the competent Swiss courts.
